Established in 2010, Lower Bush Farm is a 40-acre farm-based alternative provision for students, and a day service for adults with learning disabilities in South Shropshire.  The farm provides meaningful work in a practical environment designed to foster vocational and workplace social skills.

Our dedicated team mentors each individual, helping build confidence, life skills, and explore new interests. We focus on the whole person, nurturing emotional well-being alongside practical training in animal care, horticulture, and construction. We meet people where they are, providing tailored support and meaningful opportunities in a caring environment. Our community promotes cooperation, friendship, and respect, fostering social skills and belonging.

Through outdoor learning, team projects, and creative problem-solving, participants develop resilience, self-esteem, and practical skills. Our approach empowers individuals to discover their strengths, overcome challenges, and feel proud of what they can achieve, helping them thrive at their own pace.
